CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIANPosition: Full time employee.
Place of work: Montreal.
We currently have several openings for a Civil Engineering Technician who will provide AutoCAD drafting for the Civil Engineering Design Group.
Description of responsibilities
- Production of technical drawings;
- Generate layouts originating from conceptual sketches;
- Revise existing drawings with little or no supervision;
- Support the project team in developing project cost estimates.
Desired profile and qualifications
- Collegiate degree in Civil Engineering (D.E.C.);
- 1 to 5 years of experience in AutoCAD software (version 2004 and higher);
- 1 to 5 years of experience in plan layouts and presentation of detailed cross-sections;
- Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D or equivalent is an asset;
- Be able to communicate in French and in English;
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint desirable;
- Ability to read and understand topographical maps is a definite asset;
- Familiarity with the railway sector particularly rail alignment design is of particular interest.
