industry. They are actively involved in the company's projects, thus ensuring high quality, customer satisfaction and desired
results.
MIGUEL VALERO, President
Mr. Miguel Valero has recently been appointed to President of CANARAIL. Mr. Valero has a solid experience in upper management positions in multinational companies. His many years of success in developing companies and cultivating talent will enable Mr. Valero to fulfill his mandate for the strategic growth of CANARAIL. Mr. Valero is responsible for the general management of the company and its development on a national and international level.
Mr. Valero holds a Master of Business Administration from John-Molson-School-of-Business, Concordia University. He is also a Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and a member of various board of directors.

JIM SPIELMAN, Special Advisor to the President
Mr. Spielman, former president of CANARAIL, also had the roles of project manager, project leader and senior consultant. He has over 30 years of experience in consulting, planning and project management in restructuring and privatization projects.
Mr. Spielman joined CANARAIL in 1990 as vice-president. In 2004, he was appointed president and is now Special Advisor to the President and continues to manage many international projects.

HARRY AGHJAYAN, Executive Vice-President and Mechanical Engineeer
Mr. Aghjayan is responsible for leading and monitoring all mechanical engineering projects for CANARAIL. His professional
background includes eighteen years with the Canadian Pacific Railway and ten years of consulting experience carried out
for international railways. In his role, Mr. Aghjayan oversees the design and negotiation of all mechanical engineering
related projects. |

DONALD R. GILLSTROM, Vice-President and Chief Engineer
Mr. Gillstrom is responsible for leading all civil engineering projects for CANARAIL. He has over thirty years of
experience gained in the track maintenance department of the Canadian Pacific Railway and in the field of railway
consulting. He leads the management of projects around the world related to the design of railway infrastructure.
In his role, Mr. Gillstrom oversees the design and negotiation of all civil engineering projects. |

ELIZABETH TADGELL, Vice-President Human Resources and Business Development
Mrs. Tadgell has over twenty years of experience in the railway consulting industry. She is known throughout the industry, as most of this time has been
dedicated to the recruitment of railway experts for various international and domestic projects. Marketing and business development
activities along with project management responsibilities form an integral part of her work. |
