CANARAIL continues to look for seasoned railway professionals who have acquired years of experience working for railways and who are interested in consulting assignments be it in Canada or on international projects. Assignments vary from short term to longer term duration. Some of the positions are permanent and located in our head office in Montreal; others can be contractual assignments located in Canada or other parts of the world.
Desired disciplines include:
Railway operations (planning, modeling, scheduling etc.);
Civil engineering (alignment design for freight, passenger and urban systems; project managers, bridge engineers, track engineers, etc.);
Mechanical engineering (locomotive, cars – passenger & freight, workshop design);
Procurement;
Signal engineering;
Telecommunications engineering;
Intelligent systems engineering.
